
IBPS is a reclamation association which has been authorized to conduct the reclamation Examinations on the behalf of 20 Public Sector Banks in India.
IBPS conducts Common Written Examinations for PO, Clerks and Specialist Officers vacuities in 20 Public Sector Banks.
IBPS typically conducts Common Written Examinations (CWE's) three time in a time, one each for Clerk, PO and Specialist Officers vacuities.
The CWE for Specialist Officers is conducted online by IBPS formerly every time. The rearmost conditional date for this test is 8th & 9th February, 2014.
The IBPS Course Specialist Officer ( SO) 2014 Entrance Test will be conducted for Scale 1 and Scale 2 officers and following are the post included under scale 1 and scale 2.

Quantitative Aptitude This section will test your general fine aptitude.
You should buy a good book (like RS Aggarwal) which covers all the major motifs in mathematics and learn some tricks and easy ways to break the quant questions.
Utmost of the motifs in the syllabus are from introductory 10th Position NCERT mathematics syllabus, like Number System, HCF, LCM, Probability, Quadratic Equations,
Average, Computation Progressions, Figure, Rate and Proportions, Time and Distance, Chance, Profit and Loss, Simple and Composite Interest etc.
Try to use the Elimination system If an answer has 4 options out of which one is correct also start try figuring out which option can not be the correct answer.
Thus you should try to exclude the wrong answers to find out the correct bone. Logic Logic tests your logical and internal capability.
This is a high scoring section but the questions frequently take time to get answered. Working questions grounded on logic bear relatively lot of attention,
decision timber and logic capability. This section generally includes questions on number series, assertion and reason, logical problems, blood relations, garbling- decrypting etc.
English Language This section will test your proficiency in English language, substantially reading appreciation, alphabet, and vocabulary.
You can ameliorate your English language chops by reading novels, journals and watching English pictures and news.
Try to learn at least 10 new words every day along with their antonyms and synonyms. Watching English news daily won't only ameliorate your English but will also enhance your knowledge about the current affairs.
This section substantially contains question on reading appreciation, tenses, antonyms & synonyms, verb, error correction,para-jumbles, fill in the blanks with papers, vocabulary etc.
General Awareness General Awareness (or General Knowledge) can only be bettered by reading books, journals and watching news. Study the major aspects of history and terrain of India.
Be enthusiastic to know about each and every change passing around the world. This section will also contain questions related to banking.
Study about the budget and the new budget changes made by the central government. This section substantially tests your knowledge about current affairs (both public and global),
around the world, budget plans, books and authors, awards and honours, Sports, scientific inventions, common bowdlerizations, important days and dates. Professional Knowledge
This section tests your sphere specific knowledge,
which is grounded on the post you have applied for (like IT, Agriculture etc). Like if you re from an IT background, this section might include questions related to databases, data structures,
object acquainted programmingetc.
Quick Tips
Start preparing beforehand so that you re suitable to identify your strong and weak areas. You can also plan your medication consequently.
Learn time operation by working sample or mock tests and tracking your progress.
Guard of the negative marking so that you slip t attempt all questions (or the questions you can t break). Avoid any conjecture work.
Don t get stuck if you re unfit to break a question. While overspending time on working a question. Remember that you re running out of time.
Keep an eye on your watch so that you could wisely spend the time you re left with.
Always try to apply the Elimination Rule while answering a multiple type choice question.
Remember that there s a sectional cut-off and you have to clear it in order to get through the test and admit interview calls.
