IBPS PO Selection Process

The selection process of IBPS for the post of Probationary Officer consists of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.

Prelims: The Prelims exam consists of three sections with a total of 100 questions and carries a maximum of 100 marks. The duration of 60 minutes is allotted to the candidates to complete the preliminary exam.


Mains: IBPS PO Mains exam consists of total 157 questions out of which 155 are objective type and 2 are descriptive type questions. A total duration of 3 hours 30 minutes is allotted to complete the main exam.
